Advertising with Trophy Club Media. 

Direct Advertising.

Advertising with Trophy Club Media (TCM) is conducted across our entire spectrum of website products. One low fee allows for advertising on all websites simultaneously.

As a proud member of the community, TCM allows for the Town of Trophy Club, it’s boards and commissions, as well as any religious or non-profit entities who have a physical, commercial brick & mortar public building located with within the limits of the town to advertise across our family of products for free within certain restrictions. 

All other businesses located within the town limits shall be granted a reduced fee rate. Out of town entities shall pay the full rate. 

Free advertising shall be limited to one graphic in each “standard” size offered by the website at any given time. A business may have up to three ads in each size on file which rotate on a random or site optimized basis. No more than one advertisement per advertiser, of any size, shall be visible on a web at any given time. 

Social Media Advertising 

Trophy Club Media does not allow third parties to advertise products or services on social media sites owned/operated or managed by TCM except as stipulated below.

General Conditions. 

The total number of advertising impressions is dependent on the number of visits received to the website. TCM makes no guarantee as to the number of impressions an advertiser will receive and no guarantee as to the number of click-throughs. 

There is no limit on the number of advertisers, paid or free, that will be provided on the website. As the number of advertisers grow the number of impressions by any singular business will diminish in adverse proportion. 

TCM does not provide impression statistics at this time. 

All advertisements shall meet the editorial guidelines of the website as determined by the sole discretion of the editor. 

Placement of the advertisements shall be as determined at the sole discretion of the editor. The editor will endeavor to provide ratio equality between “paid” and “free” advertising categories. This does not mean that any particular free advertisement will receive the same number of impressions as a paid advertisement due to the fact that there may be an unequal number of free or paid advertisers. We will strive, but will not guarantee, parity in the ratio between free and paid advertisers as a group. 

Exclusivity to an advertising niche, such as restaurants or services, is not provided. Businesses who offer competing services or products may appear on the same page at the same time. Paid advertisements may appear on the same page at the same time as free advertisements. Delivery of advertisements are conducted at random by computer software and without human interference in the order or placement of the advertising. 

Advertising Requirements. 

Standard Sizes. 

The following are the website standard sizes offered for image based free & paid advertisements: 

  • 300×250 – Med. Rectangle 
  • 468×60 – Full Banner 
  • 234×60 – Half Banner 
  • 125×125 – Sq. Button 

Custom Sizes. 

The following are custom sizes offered for image based paid advertisements only: 

  • Any custom advertisement size permitted by the editor. 

Limits 

Each advertiser (business) shall be limited to only 3 advertisements of each size per month. Advertiser may change the advertisements monthly. 

Text Based or other Affiliate Links. 

Text based (“affiliate”) links to products or services are reserved exclusively for TCM. Authors and/or contributors may not include text-based advertising links in any content submitted for publication. Links to reference materials related to articles are permitted in limited quantity. Reference the Content Submission Guidelines for additional information regarding content linking. 

Advertising quality. 

Images used in advertising must be a minimum of 150 dpi. 300 dpi is preferred. Animation or video is permitted however the content shall not contain any “flashing” elements designed to distract the reader from the page content. The editor shall be the sole person to determine the suitability of the advertisement. 

Banned content or advertisers. 

The editor shall have the exclusive authority to disallow, remove or ban any advertisement or advertiser from the website. Causation is not required, and all decisions are final to the satisfaction of the editor. The editor shall have the authority to reinstate any advertisement or advertiser at the editor’s discretion. 

Fees. 

All fees shall be based on a flat, monthly rate regardless of impressions provided. 

  • The standard rate for non-Trophy Club based businesses is $30.00 per month per advertisement for each standard size advertisement that is to be displayed. This rate does not include Social Media Advertising. 
  • The discounted rate for business’ located Trophy Club is $24.00 per month per advertisement for each standard size advertisement to be displayed. This rate does not include Social Media Advertising. 
  • Brick & Mortar not for profit entities have FREE advertising in all standard sizes with limitation conditions. 

Advertising rates for paid advertisements in sizes other than standard shall be set by the editor based on the individual circumstances of the advertiser and in consort with the services to be provided. Upon request, the advertiser prospect will receive a proposal with terms and conditions suitable to the services requested. 

Fees shall be paid monthly in advance of the appearance of the advertising. 

Content submission 

Trophy Club Media does not prepare or edit advertisements. All content must be submitted print ready by the advertiser. 

Advertising content. 

Advertising shall contain no obscene, profane, violent, insulting or offensive content. Advertising shall not make claims which are not substantiated by 3rd party independent sources. Terms such as: “the best” “the greatest”, etc are not permitted unless proof can be provided by an independent authority in which the competition also participated. The editor shall have the sole authorization to determine suitable advertising content and may reject any advertisement. 

Advertising shall be hyperlinked directly to the source landing page without redirection through any 3rd party aggregation. Shortened URL’s shall not be permitted. Advertising shall not be spoofed nor shall any advertising link lead to a website that contains malicious content. 

Image source location for advertising must be hosted on the same website as the landing page or on the TCM server (where authorized). Exceptions may be permitted for businesses that use a national or franchised advertising platform service. 

Advertisements may not link directly to a downloadable document or input form but may link to a page on which the document or form is provided.
